Privacy
Your conversion input is processed in your browser. Site analytics and advertising are separate: Google AdSense may use cookies and collect information about your visit.
The files and text you convert
Every converter on Naboo runs inside your own browser. When you paste text or drop a file, the data is read into memory on your machine, processed there by JavaScript or WebAssembly, and displayed back to you. No copy is transmitted to nabooai.com or to anyone else, nothing is written to a server, and nothing is logged.
You do not have to take our word for it. Open your browser's developer tools, switch to the Network tab, and run a conversion. The converter does not upload your input, although requests for site code, analytics and advertising may appear. This differs from services that send conversion input to a remote server.
Practically, this means it is safe to convert a customer export, an internal report, or a config file containing hostnames here. Nothing is stored because nothing is ever received.
Game resources and publishing
The game library hosts files, screenshots, descriptions and links uploaded by the site owner. Published releases and their attachments are public. Draft attachments require a signed-in publisher session. These uploads are separate from converter input, which is processed locally.
The private publisher uses a session cookie to keep the administrator signed in. The session expires after 12 hours or when the administrator signs out. Public visitors do not need an account to browse releases or download public files. Download requests may appear in standard hosting logs.
Appearance preference
Your light or dark theme preference is saved in this browser using local storage. It is not an account setting and is not sent to the publishing API.
Project inquiries
If you contact us by email about software services, we receive the information you include and use it to respond to your inquiry. Links to profiles and other external websites are governed by those websites' privacy practices.
Analytics
When enabled, our self-hosted Umami tracker records page views to help us understand which pages people use. Advertising operates separately.
Umami is cookieless. It records, for each page view:
- the page you viewed and the page that referred you
- your browser, operating system, device type and screen size
- your browser language and approximate location, derived from request information
The standard Umami tracker does not set cookies or store the raw IP address in analytics records. It uses hashed visit identifiers to aggregate activity. We do not configure user-identification or session-replay features on this site, and the publisher excludes the analytics script. Hosting access logs are separate from analytics. See Umami's data definitions for the tracker fields.
We do not sell, rent or share analytics data. It is not linked to anything you converted, because we never receive what you converted.
Advertising
Naboo integrates Google AdSense to display advertising. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies and collect information such as your IP address, browser information and interactions with ads to deliver and measure advertising. Google's advertising cookies can enable personalized ads based on visits to this and other websites. The ads served depend on consent, region and publisher settings. Our converters do not send your conversion input to AdSense.
Read how Google uses information from sites that use its services. You can manage Google's personalized advertising through My Ad Center and control cookies in your browser.
Hosting and logs
The site is served from a server in Germany, behind Cloudflare as a CDN. Cloudflare and our web server keep standard access logs - IP address, timestamp, requested URL, user agent - which are used for security and debugging and are not combined with analytics data. Cloudflare processes traffic under its own privacy terms.
